NYS DOH Compliance

Data Privacy
Protection of Facility data is an extremely important aspect of ALS. ALS uses full industry standard HTTPS encryption transmitting data only to and from Amazon hosted servers. Amazon AWS enables covered entities and their business associates subject to the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to leverage the secure AWS environment to process, maintain, and store protected health information.
In addition to the technical assurance, ALS team works with the facility in understanding policies and practices used to help protect the covered entity private data.
